Final Destination Description:

One platform. The perfect setting to really prove your skills. No walls, pits, or other obstacles getting in the way. In this stage, you can really go at it! The pinnacle of your character's stuggle. The crowning point to your character's journey. It is also the arena in which you will face the ultimate opponent: Master Hand! Dun Dun Dun. (Note: This stage can be unlocked for multiplayer use in the demo.)

Master Hand Hazards:

None. There are no distractions.

Design:

This design is not original, nor is the concept. Mimicing that of the official games, this IS the final destination, as it is the setting where you will fight the game's antagonist. I did, however, need to choose what tiles would be used for the platform, and what would suffice for a background image. One of my early thoughts was to use the starmen from Super Mario Brothers, and create a trippy background full of flashy colors and vibrant movement. As we made more progress, I decided I pay more homage to the wonderful NES game Kirby's Adventure. The sprites we used for Master Hand originated from that game, so I thought it fitting to use more resources from it. The end result is an amazing night sky layout found at the very final battle of Kirby's Adventure, when you face the entity known as Nightmare. A fantastic background that truly diminishes anything I could have made myself. It's really effective for conveying the climactic battle of Classic mode. Brilliant! Is it outer space? Or is it all a dream? You decide.
